Tortilla Soup



  1. Heat butter and oil in a large pot. Add ingredients 3-5 and stir often while preparing the chicken broth. Add the broth and let it come to a light boil while you oil and heat a frying pan, slice the chicken into bite sized pieces or strips and season with montreal chicken seasoning. Put the seasoned chicken into the heated frying pan and put a lid on it, but stir it frequently. Add ingredients 9-13 to the boiling broth. Stir it in and let it just begin to boil then turn it down to low and put a lid on it to simmer. When the chicken is fully cooked add it to the soup.
  2. To serve, ladle some soup into a bowl and top with ingredients 14-16.
